POLICE in Chester have arrested an Ellesmere Port man in a supermarket car park.
A number of police cars were seen descending on the Morrisons car park in Upton just before 4pm on Friday, January 3.
A Cheshire Constabulary spokesperson has confirmed the Ellesmere Port man, 22, was stopped on suspicion of drug-driving and cannabis possession.
The spokesperson said: "Shortly before 4pm officers stopped a car in a supermarket car park in Mill Lane, Upton, Chester.
"A 22-year-old man from Ellesmere Port has subsequently been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession of class B drug cannabis.
"He will be questioned in custody by officers."
