A 31-YEAR-OLD Chester man has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an alleged attack on Hoole Bridge.
The incident was said to have happened at around 5.15pm on Friday, November 29, involving a 25-year-old woman from the city, who was alleged to have been touched inappropriately from behind as she walked over the bridge.
Police made an arrest at the time of the appeal and have confirmed they have now charged 31-year-old Gareth Roberts, of Church Street.
He is due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on January 17.
