PUPILS at Hoole Church of England Primary School in Chester took time out of their festive celebrations to raise money for a local charity.
Children donned reindeer noses and antlers to complete a Reindeer Run in support of St Luke's Hospice in Cheshire.
This has become an annual event at Hoole after pupils raised over £1,200 for the charity last December.
Event organiser Daniel Underhill said: "The children showed such enthusiasm for supporting this very worthwhile cause."
Deputy headteacher Clare Watling added: "We are very proud of the manner in which pupils are keen to support charitable causes in our local area and beyond, showing compassion towards others."
The school is planning to present the money raised to St Luke's Hospice in the new year.
