The M56.
TWO crashes on the M56 motorway this morning have caused huge delays for motorists.
The collisions, each involving two vehicles, have led to two lanes being closed eastbound at Junction 12 (Runcorn).
This is to allow Highways England to carry out repairs to the carriageway which was damaged during the collision.
No injuries have been reported and it is said that traffic is queuing back for up to eight miles.
