The Flint Suspension Bridge has been reopened after police addressed concerns for the safety of an individual.
North Wales Police put out a request via Twitter on Friday morning advising the A548 had been closed at the bridge due to an "ongoing police incident."
A spokesman for the force told the Leader that calls were received at about 8.15am reporting concerns for the safety of an individual on the bridge.
Flint Coastguard and Resuce Team were tasked by the UK Coastguard to assist North Wales Police with the incident on the Flintshire Bridge.
A Flint R.N.L.I lifeboat was also sent out to assist but stood down when the incident had come to a safe conclusion.
Just before 9.40am, a spokesman confirmed: "A548 Flintshire Bridge has now been re-opened. Thank you for your patience this morning."
