A WREXAM woman has celebrated her husband’s 20-year career with a stunning military mural.
Mike Jones joined the Army in 1999 and, to celebrate the milestone, his wife Tracy has commissioned a piece of artwork to adorn the family shed at their home in Wrexham.
She said: “This year he has completed 20 years exemplary service and I wanted to do something special for him. You can only imagine the surprise and emotion on his face after seeing the mural on the shed.”
The design was brought to life by Noo Designs Murals, a Deeside-based artist.
The artwork features silhouettes of solders in a field of red poppies.
Tracy said that after her husband had shared the image of the shed on social media they received numerous messages from people stating how brilliant the work was.
