DIGNITARIES and residents of Chester and the surrounding area gathered to pay tribute to the war fallen in a Remembrance Sunday service at Chester Cathedral.
On a crisp, sunny, autumnal morning, the annual Service of Remembrance featured an Act of Remembrance at 11am, at the War Memorial.
It was followed by a Military parade at 11.15am in St Werburgh Street.
This saw serving members of the Army, RAF and Navy and ex-members of the Armed Forces marching through the city centre streets and finishing in Northgate Street, where the salute was given outside the Town Hall.
