A FAMILY lawyer with 25 years’ experience is to join a Chester law firm.

Brenda Spain will relocate back to the region where she first practiced following her graduation from the University of Liverpool and Chester Law School.

The move to Cullimore Dutton Solicitors comes after a successful career in Worcester.

Brenda Spain

Cullimore Dutton managing director, Andrew Wright said: “We are delighted to welcome someone of Brenda’s calibre to the business. She is a much sought after and experienced divorce lawyer with a proven track record in growing and leading strong and dynamic family law teams and a reputation for exceptional client service.”

A member of Resolution and the Law Society’s Family Panel, Mrs Spain is also a qualified mediation lawyer with a special interest in cases involving domestic abuse. Throughout her career Brenda has also been a keen advocate of key workers in the NHS and emergency services.

She said: “I am thrilled to be returning to the region and joining one of the oldest family law practices in Chester, especially one with such an outstanding pedigree and reputation. I am excited to be tasked with taking forward the organisation’s ambitions for continued growth.

“Amongst my first priorities will be to develop strategic business relationships across our local networks. I have a passion for supporting the charities and local communities in which our clients live and work, and I know that is something Cullimore Dutton already does particularly well. I look forward very much to building upon that great work and establishing myself once more on ‘almost’ home turf.”
