A CHESTER man accused of attempted murder has appeared in court via videolink.
Paul Andrews, 61, from Alder Grove, appeared at Chester Crown Court on Monday, November 4, via videolink, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
He has been charged with attempting to murder a 57-year-old man.
It relates to an incident where police were called to Alder Grove at 3pm on October 3, following a report of a seriously injured man in the street.
Andrews was not asked to enter a plea at this stage and Honorary Recorder of Chester Judge Steven Everett adjourned the case until next month for medical evidence to be obtained.
Andrews was remanded in custody until his next hearing.
