FAMILIES across west Cheshire have been revelling in a feast of community fireworks displays that have been lighting up the night-time skies this past weekend.
We at the Chester Standard asked you to send in your photos of fireworks displays and you did not disappoint, with pictures of events ranging from the Lord Mayor's Fireworks Extravaganza at Chester Racecourse to Blakemere's Fireworks Celebration at Blakemere Garden Village.
Readers also sent in photos of displays at Whitby Park, Farndon and the Duke's Estate.
The biggest crowd saw families gather in and around Chester Racecourse for the return of the popular Lord Mayor's Fireworks Extravaganza.
Held in perfect conditions, the event included a bucket collection with proceeds split between Share, Chester Lions and the Lord Mayor's Charity.
