FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of a van fire in the early hours of the morning in Chester.
Officers from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to deal with a van that was on fire in Kipling Road.
They arrived shortly before 1am on Sunday, November 3, to find the vehicle well alight and used two hose reel to extinguish the flames.
The crews, responding from Chester, remained at the scene for some time afterwards to dampen down the area and perform a final check with a thermal imaging camera.
Cheshire Police were notified of the incident due to it being a suspected deliberate ignition.
Anyone with information has been asked to report this to 101, quoting IML 555586.
