A DISTRAUGHT cat-owner is calling on the people of Ellesmere Port to help find her beloved pet Cheetah.
Dot Manning told the Standard that the Tabby Savannah disappeared from her home on Overpool Road, near The Wheatsheaf pub, on the afternoon of Thursday, October 10.
She fears Cheetah – who is two years old, chipped and neutered - may have been stolen as he never roams too far and is often on a lead when the pair go for a walk.
“He is so friendly and loving,” said Dot. “He loves going away with me in my caravan.
“I have put out flyers and posters and have searched the area several times as well as garages just in case he was trapped.
“He is unusual which is why most of my friends are convinced he has been taken as he simply vanished. I hope this can make him too hot for someone to keep so they release him.”
If anyone has any information on Cheetah’s whereabouts, call Dot on 07910 603276.
