A HEATER caught fire in the bathroom of a Chester home leaving a woman suffering with smoke inhalation.
Firefighters from the city station attended the property in Abbot's Grange, off Liverpool Road, at 9.40pm last night (Tuesday, October 22).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire, which is believed to have been caused by an electrical heater fault, was out on arrival. Firefighters assisted two occupiers in getting out of the property.
"One of them was suffering from the effects of some smoke inhalation. She was handed over to the care of paramedics.
Firefighters used a large fan to clear smoke from the property and were in attendance for around an hour."
