A FARM labourer died after being involved in a two vehicle collision on a road on the outskirts of Wrexham, an inquest opening has heard.
Nicholas John Done, 53, of Church Lane, Baranduin in Whitchurch, died as a result of the severity of his injuries following the collision on the A525 in Bangor on Dee on Wednesday, October 2.
Opening the inquest into his death, John Gittins, Coroner for North Wales East and Central, said Mr Done had been driving a BMW Mini at around 4.50am when it collided with another vehicle.
He went on to say that Mr Done was pronounced dead at around 5.30am and a post mortem carried out giving a medical cause of death as transection thoracic aorta.
The inquest was adjourned until early next year.
