FIREFIGHTERS released a casualty from a car following a collision.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 3.20pm on Sunday reporting a one-vehicle collision on Whitchurch Road in Chowley, near Chester.
Three fire engines attended from Malpas, Chester and Ellesmere Port.
A spokesman for the fire and rescue service said: "On arrival the crews found one person was medically trapped in a convertible car following a one vehicle collision.
"Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release the casualty, they were then passed to the care of paramedics.
"Crews were in attendance for approximately 90 minutes."
