A PERSON was released from a vehicle by firefighters following a collision.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call just after 1pm on Friday reporting a three-vehicle collision at the junction of Long Lane Parkgate Road in Chester.
Two fire engines attended, one from Powey Lane and one from Chester.
A spokesman for the service said: "On arrival the crews discovered the collision involved three vehicles and that someone was trapped inside one of them.
"She was assessed by paramedics before firefighters got her out of the vehicle.
"The casualty was then handed over to the care of the paramedics.
"A three-way road closure was put in place by the police as emergency services worked at the scene.
"Firefighters were in attendance for around half-an-hour."
