A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Chester.
Police were called at 3pm on Thursday (October 3) to Alder Grove following reports of a seriously injured man in the street.
A spokesman for the Cheshire Constabulary said: "A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
"A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital by air ambulance in a serious condition."
Police are investigating the circumstances and remain at the scene.
