A GREAT SUTTON Slimming World group has been celebrating the weight-loss company's golden milestone.

The group, which meets at Hope Farm Community Centre each Wednesday at 7am, 9am and 11am, toasted the 50th anniversary event with consultant Gaynor Budd and all who had reached their target weight this year.

Gaynor, who has been a Slimming World consultant for 25 years, said: "I'm so proud; all of these members have been on a journey and have now reached their destination were they can now stay slim for life.

"At my group you will find a room full of friendly and like-minded people ready to welcome you and support you all the way to a new slimmer you just like these members have done.

"It is amazing to think back in 1969 Margaret Miles Bramwell had a dream to help people lose weight.

"I am truly blessed to be helping people slim and achieve their own dreams every week.

"I am proud each week in my group at least 28 target members attend.

"Losing weight and keeping it off is the key and all that help and support is offered at my multi national award-winning group."
