ELLESMERE Port Comic Con has been hailed a success and looks set to return next year.
Comic fans and families flocked to the Civic Hall on Sunday for the event.
The show was organised in just five weeks after Steven Howard and family stepped in when the previous organisers decided not to hold an event this year.
Visitors to the event immersed themselves in tgeek culture and and had the chance to meet guests from TV and film, including Ross O'Hennessy, The 'Lord of Bones' from Game of Thrones and Willie Coppen, who played an Ewok in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
There were lots of great displays and props such as The Iron Throne and Monsters Inc. 'Boo's Door', and Transformers' Bumblebee.
There were also lots of cosplayers who dressed as their favourite characters from movies, comics and anime.
Mr Howard said he was encouraged by people's feedback from the day and hoped to hold another con in Ellesmere Port in 2020, perhaps as soon as February.
