MEMBERS of the public are being invited to attend a drug awareness information session.
The event, run by Flintshire Sorted, will take place at Mold Town Hall on Tuesday, October 8 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Those attending will be able to find out more about Flintshire Sorted, who they are and what they do.
The team will also be able to advise on any concerns parents may have about their children and how they can refer them to Flintshire Sorted, as well as county lines, risk factors and protective factors.
In addition, the event will give members of the public a chance to see what drugs look like, their common names, the effects they have and how to tell if someone is taking them.
There will also be a chance to learn about how interactive games can support young people's learning.
No booking is required and all are welcome to attend.
An open drop in will take place between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, with drug and alcohol resources and Sorted staff available for discussions.
From 6.30pm to 7.15pm there will be a presentation on substance misuse.
Then from 7.15pm to 7.30pm there will be an opportunity for attendees to book future individual appointments with Sorted practitioners.
