DOG owners in Elton are being warned amid reports canine treats laced with glass are being scattered around the community.
Police have been made aware of the issue and are urging residents to come forward with any relevant information.
The Saughall, Mollington and Elton police account posted on social media last Friday (September 6) the dog treats with glass in them had been scattered in the Parkland Drive area of Elton.
It added: "Please take care when walking your dogs and if you have any information please call 101."
