AN APPEAL has been launched following the theft of several heavily pregnant cows in Hope.
Online Watch Link (OWL) said eight black and white Holstein heifer cows, close to calving - two of which are said to be due this week- were stolen on sometime late on Monday (September 2) night time, or in the early hours of Tuesday.
The theft was from a farm on Hope Mountain, OWL said.
OWL said the cows are all freeze branded with the last three digits of their ear-tag.
The the freeze brand numbers of the heifers stolen are as follows; 452, 791, 911, 924, 927, 949, 958 and 965.
The vehicle used to remove the cows is believed to be a wagon.
