LOCAL NHS Trust Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) has been awarded the contract to provide GP services at Ellesmere Port’s Old Hall Surgery from this month.

Old Hall becomes the third local GP practice to be managed by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP), joining Westminster Surgery (Ellesmere Port) and Williston Surgery – recently recognised as the number one GP surgery in Cheshire for patient opinion following publication results from the national GP Patient Survey.

Following a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), both surgeries are rated as ‘Good’.

Old Hall Surgery serves 5,700 registered patients in and around Ellesmere Port.

CWP is a Foundation Trust that provides health and care services for local people in partnership with other organisations. Its services include mental health and learning disabilities, community physical health, general practice and all-age disability care. The Trust provides services across Cheshire and Wirral as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton, Liverpool and Sefton.
