A MAN has been arrested in connection with an assault on a teenage girl in Flintshire.
North Wales Police has confirmed that a man has been arrested in connection with the incident that took place in the Swinchard Woods area of Flint on the evening of August 24.
At the time, police said a teenage girl had been assaulted in the woods sometime between 10.30pm and 10.50pm.
A spokesman for the force said: "A man has been arrested in relation to the assault, and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries."
