FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a skip that had been set on fire in the early hours of the morning.
The crew from Ellesmere Port attended the blaze in Caernarvon Court in the town just before 3.40am today (Tuesday, September 3).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters from Ellesmere Port used a hose reel jet to extinguish the contents of a skip which had been deliberately set on fire outside an address on Caernavon Court.
"The crew were detained at the scene for approximately 20 minutes."
Police are appealing for information.
Anyone with any information in relation to the fire is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101.
