TWO Ellesmere Port Slimming World groups joined forces to go the extra mile in aid of a worthy cancer cause.
In honour of the Slimming World brand turning 50 years old this year, members of the group took part in a Golden Body Magic Challenge, which saw a total of 50 members walk one mile in aid of Cancer Research.
Group leader Ebony Edwards said she was delighted with the turnout as it meant the group reached the Golden Body Magic Challenge Together.
About £500 is hoped to be raised for Cancer Research as a result of the event.
