A TEENAGER accused of having a handgun on him at Chester Railway Station has appeared in the dock.

Jack Day, 19, of Llwyn Elwy, Llanelwy, Sir Ddinbych, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 29, facing a total of three charges.

He is charged with possessing a handgun which had a barrel shorter than 12 inches in length, possessing forged £20 notes and a quantity of the class B drug cannabis.

The three offences are said to have occurred on October 14, 2018.

No application for bail was made and Day was remanded in custody pending an appearance at Chester Crown Court on Thursday, September 26, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
