YOUNGSTERS with the Ellesmere Port Sea Cadets had the honour of attending the Sea Cadet National Band Competition at the Tower of London.
Led by Able Cadet Brandon Walls, TS Forward band did battle with other musical outfits from across the country.
They finished eighth overall with Able Cadet Walls placing first as the’ National Best Drum Major’, taking home both the Area and National trophies.
A spokesman said: “This was an amazing accomplishment as the competition was very tough.
“A big congratulations to the cadets, our Bandmaster P/Sgt Luke Hughes, our instructors and all those who have offered their support throughout the year.”
