FIREFIGHTERS from Ellesmere Port were called to a lorry that had overheated on the M56 this morning.

Crews from the Port and Runcorn attended the incident between junction 12 and 14 at 6am today (August 13).

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Firefighters were called to an overheated lorry on the M56 between junction 12 and 14 westbound. Crews used a hose reel on the overheated engine to cool it down."
