NEW facilities with the aim of making Cheshire Oaks more accessible to all are to open next month.

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks will open its new accessible bathroom facilities featuring Changing Places as part of the centre’s £40 million expansion.

Opening on September 2, the Changing Places facilities contain specialist equipment with more space, enabling thousands of disabled people across the country the opportunity to get out and about and enjoy the day-to-day activities many take for granted.

Located close to Gap, the facilities will be accessed with a RADAR key and will include an adjustable hand basin and mobile changing bed with a hoist.

Centre manager Kenny Murray said: “We have always been committed to offering every single one of our guests the best possible experience when visiting Cheshire Oaks.

"These much-needed facilities support both new and existing guests to ensure they have a safe and comfortable visit.”

The £40 million expansion at McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks has already introduced new amenities including an expanded community space, a new decked car park facility and a footbridge on top of an additional 25 new premium fashion and food and beverage brands.
