A MAN from Ellesmere Port has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 21-year-old in Kirkby.
Emergency services were called to Broad Lane, Kirkby at around 12.50pm on Sunday, July 7 following reports a man had been stabbed.
Named by police as James Halewood, he was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
A Home Office post-mortem examination confirmed the cause of death as a single stab wound.
A 23-year-old man from Ellesmere Port and 26-year-old man from Kirkby were arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday, July 16 in North Wales.
They have both been taken to a police station to be questioned.
