A CELEBRITY cricket match to help give young people "a sporting chance" was held in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle.
It was the fourteenth year the castle had hosted the Lord's Taverners Celebrity Cricket Match in its auspicious surroundings.

Presenter and writer Nick Hancock led his team of celebrities and sportsmen, including Hugh Dennis and Gordon Kennedy, and rugby player Rob Andrew.
The sun was out, making it a superb day to enjoy the hospitality and cricket, as well as a indulge in a little celebrity spotting.

The Lord's Taverners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity, giving disadvantaged and disabled young people access to sport.

The day included a charity auction led by Adam Partridge, of BBC's Flog it and Bargain Hunt.
