A FAMILY funday in memory of a much-missed Cheshire Oaks employee is to be held in Ellesmere Port this weekend.

Mike Fest will take place on Sunday, July 14 at The Groves Sports and Social Club between 1pm and 11pm.

The event is being held in memory of Mike Ince, who sadly passed away in January from a sudden cardiac arrest on January 6 this year, aged just 29.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), whose vision is ‘Preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.’

The festival features lots of family activities including carnival stalls, bouncy castle, facepainting, live music all day, raffle, silent auction, bottle tombola, sweet and fudge shop. Tickets are £5 for adults and kids enter for free.

The event has been organised by colleagues at Polo Ralph Lauren Cheshire Oaks, as Mike was a dear colleague and friend to staff there.

There will also be a charity football match between the Polo Ralph Lauren Cheshire Oaks and York outlet stores.

Tickets for Mike Fest are available from the Polo Ralph Lauren Cheshire Oaks store.
