HIS prosthetic creations have appeared in blockbusters such as Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Star Wars among many others - and now Shaune Harrison has returned to Wirral to set up his studio and academy.

One of the world's leading technical make-up artists, the renowned Wirral-born special effects and prosthetics artist has set up in Wirral after 30 years working in the film industry.

His studio is based at Woodside Business Park, a two-storey office space on the fringes of Wirral Waters.

Shaune's catalogue of work also includes Captain America and The Avengers.

His aim is turn his 30 years' of knowledge and experience in film as the subject number of courses and seminars from his new premises on the banks of the River Mersey.

The Shaune Harrison Academy is the pinnacle of his many accomplishments and his dedication and devotion to his trade are the driving force behind its continued success.

The former Eastham Secondary School, now South Wirral High, pupil said: "I have moved back to the Wirral because I grew up here and wanted to return to my roots after spending 30 years based near MediaCityUK working in the film industry.

"I have been able to fully customise my new premises and the location of Woodside Business Park is ideal for me with excellent transport links so it’s really accessible from Liverpool city centre and the M53 motorway network.

Woodside Business Park, which is owned by Peel L&P, has recently been refurbished to a fully-adaptable, open plan facility and has several units still available to let.
