THE bright and sunny weekend is forecast to come to a wet and thunderous end from midnight onwards.
The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for rain and thunderstorms from midnight, which will most likely remain in place for most of Monday.
The warning, which could lead to flooding and disruption to travel, is in place for most of the UK, with North Wales likely to be hit by a couple of showers from around 7pm on Sunday evening.

Motorists and commuters should expect delays and are being advised to check the weather before making their journey.
The news follows two days of torrential rain and flooding that battered the region on June 12 and 13 when a weather warning was also in place.
There is some good news however, as forecasters have said by the end of the week temperatures are likely to sore, with Friday looking like it could be the hottest day of the year so far.
