RAIL passengers heading into Chester from are being advised not to travel unless your journey is ‘absolutely essential’.
Heavy rainfall has resulted in all lines being blocked between Chester and Shrewsbury, with services running in delays of an hour and a half or being cancelled altogether.
A spokesman for Transport for Wales said: “Passengers are advised not to travel unless your journey is absolutely essential. Continued heavy rain during today means that travel to and from your desired destination cannot be guaranteed.”
The disruption is expected to last up until 10am today.
