FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a blaze involving a toaster in Chester.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 2.40pm on Friday reporting an incident at a home in Aukland Road.
A spokesman for the service said: "On arrival the crew found the toaster well alight and everyone was accounted for.
"Firefighters isolated the electricity supply to the toaster.
"Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"Once the fire was out the crew used a large fan to clear smoke from the property.
"Firefighters were in attendance for around 45 minutes."
