CHESTER'S new Aldi store will be opened by Olympian Gemma Gibbons Burton next Thursday.

With 1,254 sqm of retail space, the Parkgate store will be the fourth Aldi in Chester and will be run by store manager, Adam Raby.

Exclusive offers will run throughout opening day and the first 30 customers through the door will receive a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and vegetables from Aldi’s Super 6 range.

To celebrate the store opening, Adam Raby and the store team will be joined by Olympic silver medalist, Gemma Gibbons Burton, to cut the ribbon at 8am on Thursday, June 13)

Mr Raby said: “We can’t wait to finally open the doors to the new store on Parkgate Lane. It’s set to be a special day as we’ll be celebrating the opening of Aldi’s fourth store in Chester and having local Olympic hero, Gemma Gibbons-Burton join us will make it a morning to remember.”

Team GB Judo star, Gemma Gibbons Burton, added: “I’m so excited to be opening Aldi’s new store in Chester. It will be great way for me to give back to the local community and a lovely way for me to thank Aldi for its endless support of Team GB.”
