FABULOUS live entertainment from two top tribute acts and appearances from Transformers autobots including Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are just two of the attractions at this year’s Oulton Park Family Fun Day this month.

The event, on Sunday, May 26, promises a bigger and better family-themed celebration than ever before.

Advance adult tickets are £10 and children under 13 go free for the fun-packed event at the picturesque Little Budworth circuit, with entertainment to suit all ages.

Ariana Grande by AG will take to the stage at 11.30am followed by Taylor Swift by Xenna at 2.30pm, offering music fans young and old the chance to sing along to all their favourite hits.

Oulton Park Family Fun Day is supporting local charity The Joshua Tree, which helps the families of children suffering from cancer, and the proceeds from supercar rides around the Cheshire countryside provided by Dream Bears will be donated to the cause.

Heineken is also donating proceeds from sales of its 0.0% beer on the day.

The Transformers ‘robots in disguise’ vehicles and characters will be a big draw for younger fans, with Optimus Prime, New Bee, Beater Bee, Bumblebee, Barricade and the Nest Soldiers all in attendance.

Anyone who buys advance tickets before midday on Thursday, May 23, or has a season pass, will be entered in a free draw to win a ride in one of the Transformers vehicles for a parade lap of the circuit.

Visitors can also get on track themselves with rally hot laps, BMW M4 driving experiences and YoungDrive! early driving lessons for children as young as 11, which can all be booked in advance from as little as £20.

The venue will be filled with display cars including supercars and modified vehicles, and thrill-seekers can take on the 30ft climbing wall or the 120ft-long inflatable assault course.

For those who’d rather watch than take part, there will be an extreme mountain bike show performing throughout the day.

Animal lovers can meet a 106-year-old rescue tortoise and rescue rabbits Daphne and Poppy, who are being brought along by the Northwest Turtle and Tortoise Sanctuary, and free kids’ activities include arts and crafts and a treasure hunt.
