A FLINTSHIRE mum said her young daughter 'was too petrified' to enter their house after their living room window was smashed.
The incident took place some time during Sunday (May 12) at a property on Pen-Y-Ball in Holywell.
The front window of the house has been smashed, leaving its resident, and their young family, now wanting to move house.
Debbie Bayliss, 30, arrived home to find the damage, and was relieved that her daughter had not been in the house at the time.
Miss Bayliss explained: "My little one was too petrified to come into the house when we came home and saw it.
"We had been at my parents, and it's lucky we were as my daughter usually sits next to where the window was smashed, so it could have been really nasty.
"We're looking to move out of this area, there are drunks always coming up and down the street, and speeding cars.
"We've been thinking about it for a while but this incident is the final straw."
A North Wales Police spokesman said: "We were called to a property in the Pen-Y-Ball area of Holywell after a window had been smashed.
"Enquiries are ongoing into this incident."
