POLICE and firefighters have attended the scene of a car fire in Chester.
It is thought the vehicle may have been torched deliberately on Brisbane Road, Blacon, at around noon on Friday (May 10).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival the crew found a car well alight. A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The incident was then handed over to the police.

"Firefighters were in attendance for around 45 minutes. It is believed that the fire may have been started deliberately."
