A FLINTSHIRE coastguard team was called out to assist with an incident on the Wirral.
Flint Coastguard Rescue Team was tasked by UK Coastguard alongside Wirral Coastguard Rescue Team to assist Merseyside Police with an incident in New Brighton.
The incident was reported to the team shortly before 11am on Thursday.
A spokesman said: "As both teams were on route, information was received that the incident had reached a safe conclusion and both teams were able to stand down."
In a coastal emergency, members of the public are urged to call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
