RETIREMENT housebuilder McCarthy and Stone is seeking feedbackon its proposal to create a new accommodation complex on a parcel of land at Brook Meadow off Church Lane, Neston.

The scheme will comprise of around 50 retirement apartments designed to enable older people “to live an active life, while maintaining their independence.”

The completed development will also feature on-site car parking and professionally landscaped gardens, guest suite and lift access to all floors.

Residents are invited to view plans for the site at a public exhibition next Tuesday, May14, between 3pm and 7pm, at Neston Methodist Church in Park Street.

Adam Mooij, deputy regional managing director North West for McCarthy and Stone, said: “I would like to encourage all local representatives and residents to attend the exhibition, to offer their opinions on the proposal. Our team has carefully researched the local area and understands that there is a real shortage of specialist retirement accommodation in Neston.

“At the exhibition members of our project team will be on-hand to answer questions and listen to the thoughts of local stakeholders, representatives and the wider community.

“Where possible feedback received will be incorporated into the final designs of our proposal.”
