A MAN has died after being hit by a train in Hoylake.
Emergency services were called to Melrose Avenue near Manor Road at around 9.50am on Thursday, May 2 following reports that a man had been hit by a train.
British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed today (Tuesday, May 7) that a 21-year-old man died a short time later.
In a statement, BTP told the Globe: "This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
