ELMSCOT Day Nursery Chester invited grandparents of the children who attend the setting to take part in the recent St George’s Day celebrations.
All the grandparents joined the children for the afternoon at the Egerton Road nursery and enjoyed a whole host of themed activities. This included flag making, play-dough modelling and dressing up in traditional costumes.
Nicky Cunningham, nursery manager at Elmscot Day Nursery Chester, said: “We were delighted to welcome the children’s grandparents into the nursery. It’s lovely to see our families getting so enthusiastic and taking part in the fun activities we have planned.
“On behalf of all the staff and children, I’d like to thank all the grandparents who attended. We hope you enjoyed our event and would love to have to back to nursery soon.”
