A CHESTER nursery invited grandparents of the children who attend to join in St George’s Day celebrations.
Grandparents joined the children for the afternoon at Elmscot Day Nursery and enjoyed a whole host of themed activities.
These included flag making, play-dough modelling and dressing up in traditional costumes.
Nicky Cunningham, nursery manager, said: “We were delighted to welcome the children’s grandparents into the nursery. It’s lovely to see our families getting so enthusiastic and taking part in the fun activities we have planned.
“On behalf of all the staff and children, I’d like to thank all the grandparents who attended. We hope you enjoyed our event and would love to have to back to nursery soon.”
Elmscot Chester is part of the Elmscot Group of Day Nurseries and Nursery Schools, providing outstanding childcare and education to more than 1,800 children across Cheshire.
