ELLESMERE Port police are appealing for information following a fight in the town on the evening of Easter Monday, April 22.
An armed response vehicle had been deployed to the scene amid a report one of the people involved in the altercation on Sutton Way was possibly armed with a knife.
A police spokesperson said: "Local officers attended the scene, along with support from armed officers, and conducted a search of the local area.
"Officers have spoken to a number of people believed to have been involved in the incident.
"However, at this stage no weapons have been located and no complaints have been made.
"Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 381775.
"Information can also be reported anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111."
