FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a scrubland blaze.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly before 5.30pm on Sunday reporting the blaze near Poole Road in Brymbo.
One crew from Wrexham attended the scene and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Fire damage was caused to 75 square metres of gorse.
A spokesman for the service said the cause was deliberate ignition.
