A TEENAGER from Wrexham who is due at crown court next month accused of a series of offences has appeared from custody at a weekend court in breach of his bail.
Keon Davies, 19, was subject to an overnight tagged curfew but a weekend sitting of North East Wales Magistrates Court was told he had been absent from his home address for 15 minutes in the early hours of April 17.
His solicitor Stephen Edwards said told the Mold court his client was taking a pragmatic approach and admitted a bail breach but he and his family feared there might be an issue with the monitoring equipment.
He had advised them to take it up with the monitoring company.
Davies was rebailed on the same conditions to appear at a plea hearing at Mold Crown Court on May 17 to answer charges of possessing a blade, pursing a course of conduct causing another to fear violence, criminal damage and two charges of assault.
In the meantime he must live at Kenyon Avenue in Garden Village, Wrexham, he must observe a 7pm to 7am curfew and he is not to approach the complainant.
