A SECTION of road was cordoned off while fire crews tackled a telegraph pole well alight
Two fire engines from Penketh and one form Ellesmere Port were called out to the blaze in Chester Road, Frodsham, on Monday at 1.26 pm.
Firefighters attended to reports of smoke coming from an electric telegraph pole and on arrival the pole was found to be well alight.
A cordon was set up and crews used dry powder to extinguish the fire.
